Jenny and Tom Get Hitched!

On May 31, our cuz Jenny got married to a great guy - Tom Gallaher at Glen Ella Springs in the north Georgia mountains. Steven, Jenny's son, walked her down the aisle, and Jenny's daughter, Allison, was the Maid of Honor. Her sister, Sharon, was there with her husband Tom Cook and their children and their families. We felt Aunt Irene and Uncle J.C. there in spirit. Uncle J.C. holding his pipe between his teeth with that big ole smile. Tom overhearing him tell Jenny what a fine young man she had and how happy he was that they had found each other. And, Aunt Irene wishing that she had worn different shoes, and that Jim and Candy had come.

Jenny and Tom designed their own 3-D programs.

Omigod, this is absolutely beautiful!
Glen Ella Springs is such a romantic bed and breakfast. We want to come back and stay at this place!

Tom's brother "Microwave" Dave was his best man and also played guitar during the ceremony. BTW, he's a great blues guitarist (check his web site), but for this gig he pulled out his classical chops.

Jennifer's son Steven and daughter Allison provided the flower girls. On the left is Stevens daughter Wini, and on the right is Alison's daughter Mattison.

Get a room!

Dave gave a very moving toast, followed by equally moving toasts from Steven, then Tom Cook. I was a little worried about that since Jenny and her Tom don't normally drink, but they seemed to handle it all quite well. Later (after wondering if I was acting tipsy) I found out that it was sparkling apple cider and not champagne.

If she shoves this down my throat, she's going to pay!
The food at the reception was all homemade - the chicken salad was especially delicious. So their first domestic duty - cut the cake and pass it around - was a great topper.

What a coincidence - both Jennifer and sister Sharon now have husbands named Tom!

Extended Family
David poses with Gloria, Tom and Dave's sister. She flew all the way from Portland, Oregon to be here for the wedding.

Peek-a-boo!
Dave plays bashful with Blair, his significant other. Isn't she adorable? The hat was not only sensible, but stylish!

Alone at last!

I call him a cowboy, 'cuz I've seen him ride.
The honeymoon was in Costa Rica. Among other things, they rode a zip line over a river and rode horses down to the beach.

I SHALL RETURN!

Come on, Roy. I'll race ya back to the ranch!
